The standards we uphold when valeting your vehicle
Effective from 1 March 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) describe the agreement between Hire2Shine (“we”, “us” or “our”) and you, the client (“you” or “your”), when you enquire about, book or receive our mobile car valeting services. By requesting a valet, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.
1. Services we provide
We deliver professional mobile valeting at your home, workplace or other agreed location. Each valet is tailored to the package selected and may include exterior washing, interior cleaning, stain removal, polishing, protective treatments and optional add-ons. We reserve the right to adjust the service scope if conditions or vehicle condition require it, and will always discuss any changes with you first.
2. Booking and access requirements
Bookings can be made via phone, email or our website enquiry form. We will confirm your appointment by phone or email and provide an estimated arrival window. You are responsible for ensuring safe access to the vehicle, including parking permissions, sufficient working space and clearance around the vehicle. Please remove personal belongings from the vehicle before we arrive.
3. Pricing and payment
All prices are quoted in GBP and include standard materials. Additional charges may apply for excessive soiling, pet hair removal, heavy staining or larger vehicles, and we will agree any supplements with you in advance. Payment is due on completion of the valet unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, bank transfer and most major cards.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
We understand that plans change. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Where possible we will offer an alternative appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the quoted price to cover lost time and preparation costs. If we must cancel due to severe weather or operational issues, we will contact you promptly to arrange a new date.
5. Your responsibilities
Please ensure your vehicle is mechanically sound and safe to work on. Let us know in advance about any damage, aftermarket modifications or areas of concern. We cannot be held responsible for existing defects, worn fabrics or surfaces that fail due to age or prior repairs. We may decline to valet a vehicle if it presents a health or safety risk to our team.
6. Liability and insurance
Hire2Shine holds full public liability insurance and takes great care when working on every vehicle. In the unlikely event of accidental damage caused by us, we will repair or reimburse the affected area subject to reasonable evidence and our insurer’s assessment. We are not liable for indirect losses, business interruption or loss of use of the vehicle.
7. Satisfaction guarantee
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the valet, please inform us within 24 hours. We will return to address reasonable concerns or offer a suitable resolution. Outcomes may vary depending on the age and condition of the vehicle, and some stains or defects may be permanent despite our best efforts.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply to any new bookings once published.
